Recently the Midwest was affected by a vicious tornado
that created miles and miles of destruction. After being on the ground for
about an hour, one particular tornado in Oklahoma measured about a mile wide
and showed its fierce force and power with heavy winds. At unfortunate times
like these, all we can do is find ways to provide some extra assistance. This
is exactly what Honda recently did as it immediately stepped
up to help response efforts.
Honda has the most loyal customers of any automotive brand. But we already knew that! Well, now it's official, according to a customer survey released by J.D. Power and Associates. Now in its eighth year, this loyalty study "measures the rate at which automotive brands retain their existing customers and the reasons why owners remain loyal."

Honda Motors CEO Takanobu Ito said that there could be a "huge demand for battery-powered electric-vehicles," in the near future. This is currently the strongest endorsement of alternative fuel technology Ito has made, while his predecessor ignored it as impractical. The Japanese automaker has plans to launch a plug-in hybrid, as well as a pure electric-car by 2012.
"It's starting to look like there will be a market for electric vehicles (EVs)," Ito said.
