Instead of picking average American citizens to test the 2013
Honda Fit EV, the Japanese automaker chose one municipality
(Torrance, CA), one tech leviathan (Google), and one ivy-league school
(Stanford University). Needless to say, both Google and Stanford University welcomed the
2013 Honda Fit EV, and were eager to break down the following measurements:
- CO2 reduction
- Energy
consumption
- Total energy expenditures
Once Google got their first EV, they hosted an employee ride event, where almost 100 workers took it for a spin. All three organizations worked extremely efficient in performing tests, gathering data, and analyzing results. After all, they will be the ones driving the vehicle once it has been released into mass production!
Once Honda Superstore of Joliet hears the results, we will make sure to let you know! We are dedicated to keeping you informed of the latest Honda news. If you would like to come take a look at the 2012 Honda Fit sooner rather than later, come down to 3225 North Plainfield Rd in Joliet, IL during our regular business hours. We're always happy to share specs,
answer any questions or concerns, compare the petrol-powered Fit to the Fit EV, and arrange test
drives. We look forward to serving you in the near future!
